Recently I have had a bit of time to explore Deviantart more and have really been impressed with many aspects of this art community. I have seen some amazing work in the same vein/genre that I dabble in as well as work in areas that I have always wanted to try. In addition I have seen some art in traditional mediums that has made me long for my younger days before digital art when I was exploring pastels, ink wash and clay sculptures. In a sense, this community has awakened creative juices that have long been dormant and I am glad. I went out and bought my first canvas in years and plan to work on my painting skills again. Keep up the great work everyone and thanks for opening my mind back up to the endless options for creativity out there.
